Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining all physical aspects of the property.
  • Complete assigned service requests within 24 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining all physical aspects of the property
  • Complete all assigned service requests properly within 24 hours
  • Maintain excellent customer service relationship
  • Develop and maintain personal technical skills necessary to provide a superior level of service without relying on outside vendors
  • Assist with or perform all work necessary to bring 50% of vacated units to rent-ready condition in a timely manner
  • Abide by the Company’s hazard communication program; follow safe work practices and encourage staff to follow safe work practices
  • Work on-call call as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of make-ready, maintenance, or general construction experience preferred

  • Knowledge of basic tools and equipment used in make-readies and apartment turnovers

  • Ability to complete apartment turnovers in a timely and efficient manner

  • Basic knowledge of:

    • Drywall repair and texturing

    • Painting (cutting in, rolling, touch-ups)

    • Caulking and grouting

    • Minor plumbing and electrical repairs

    • Appliance installation and troubleshooting

  • Ability to follow checklists and property standards

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Good communication and time-management skills

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more

  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for long periods

  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments

  • Positive attitude and team player

  • Takes initiative and ownership of tasks

  • Able to work with minimal supervision

  • Willing to be on-call or work weekends when needed
