Job summary

Superhost Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Fort Wayne South hotel safe, functional, and comfortable for guests. You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, boilers, fire safety, elevators, and pool equipment.

You will respond to maintenance requests, assist in room and public space upkeep, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with hotel maintenance preferred.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Reliable with strong work ethic and task management.
• Good teamwork with other departments.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a key member of the team responsible for keeping our hotel safe, functional, and comfortable for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel systems and equipment.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, refrigeration, boilers, fire safety systems, elevators, and pool equipment.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members.
• Assisting in the setup, repair, and upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Skilled in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Able to quickly identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and good task management.
• Works well with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Additional Requirements:

• Previous experience in a maintenance technician role in a hotel setting is preferred.
• Availability for varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other technical trades are a plus.
