Job summary

Wingate Management Company in Florissant, MO is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to lead and perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance at our Florissant property.

The role requires 1+ year of experience, EPA HVAC certification, and strong problem-solving abilities, with on-call rotation to ensure resident satisfaction and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• HVAC knowledge and EPA certification required.
• Experience with plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with apartment turnovers and preventative maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Prepare apartments for new residents (turnovers).
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.
• Coordinate with vendors and safely use tools/equipment.

Pay: $23.00 to $24.00 / hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm (with on-call rotation)

What You'll Do

• Complete repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance
• Prepare apartments for new residents (turnovers)
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively
• Coordinate with vendors and safely use tools/equipment

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year experience as a Maintenance Technician
• HVAC / EPA Certified
• Computer proficiency is a plus
• HVAC knowledge is a plus, particularly with boilers and heating systems.
• Experience with general plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, apartment turnovers, and preventative maintenance is essential.
