Job summary

Cindavi is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment reliable across forging, casting, finishing, and machining processes. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing faults and ensuring continuous operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with electrical controls, automation, and heavy machinery, performing preventive maintenance and root‑cause analysis to reduce downtime while documentation and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience troubleshooting electronic controls in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read electrical schematics and machine programs, diagnose PLC and HMI issues, and work around automation equipment.
• Understand electrical/electronic systems and take a methodical approach to finding and fixing faults.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, following detailed safety procedures.
• Clear communication, ability to work independently and in a team, stay organized as priorities shift.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Walk production lines to spot issues in forging, casting, and finishing before downtime occurs.
• Diagnose and repair faults by checking voltages, replacing components, and testing electrical systems with meters and megger.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, investigate CNC, servo, HMIs and related electronics.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability and use root‑cause analysis for failures.
• Document repairs in the CMMS and keep tools, parts, and work areas organized.
• Support hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyors, cranes, and other material‑handling equipment.

Job Description:

When a machine goes down, every minute matters. We are hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment reliable and our operation moving. Our team produces lightweight aluminum components for the automotive industry, and this role puts you close to the action across forging, casting, finishing, and machining.

This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys finding the real cause of a fault, not just getting the line running until the next breakdown. You will work with electrical controls, automation, and heavy production machinery in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do:

• Walk production lines to spot emerging issues in forging, casting, and finishing before they become costly downtime.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults by checking voltages, interpreting schematics, replacing failed components, and testing electrical systems with meters and a megger.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, and investigate faults involving CNC equipment, servo systems, AC motion controls, HMIs, and related electronics.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability, then use root‑cause analysis to understand unexpected failures.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, document repairs in our CMMS, and help keep tools, parts, and work areas organized and ready.
• Support systems that may include hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, cranes, and other material‑handling equipment.

Qualifications:

• You have 2 to 5 years of experience troubleshooting electronic controls in a manufacturing environment.
• You can read electrical schematics and machine programs, diagnose PLC and HMI issues, and work confidently around automation equipment.
• You understand electrical and electronic systems and take a methodical approach to finding and fixing faults.
• You have working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and can follow detailed procedures while working safely.
• You communicate clearly, work well independently and with a team, and stay organized when priorities shift.
• An associate degree in electronics or a related curriculum is preferred, not required.
