Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support daily production by troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing control systems and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical/electronic control systems, PLC/HMI maintenance, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. This hands-on position offers a rotating shift pattern in Faribault, MN with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree/certificate OR 1 to 3 years of experience in a multi-shift manufacturing facility (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Comfortable with exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme heat, fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally caustic chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical and electronic control system issues (analog/digital).
• Maintain, program, and improve PLC and HMI systems, as well as computer network communications.
• Install, calibrate, clean, and repair process control instruments, pressure switches, flow tubes, and gauges to minimize downtime.
• Service and repair VFDs, electric motors, starters, and servo motors in a production environment.
• Repair and maintain machinery, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Operate fabrication tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders to repair or modify equipment.
• Utilize arc and wire-feed welders for necessary equipment modifications and repairs.
• Maintain equipment efficiency by adhering to a Planned Maintenance Program.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support daily production operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing operational control systems and mechanical equipment.

• Schedule: Rotating 2 on, 2 off, 3 on schedule
• 1st Shifts: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• 2nd Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Wage: Up to $28.50.00/HR depending on experience level
