Job description

Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire

Elkhorn, WI

Pay Rate: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM), Monday–Friday (TBD). Training on 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) for first few weeks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of CNC maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience required.
• Experience with CNC equipment and controls preferred.
• Computer skills and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and related equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, auxiliary systems).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and servo issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Calibrate and align components to maintain precision, ensure compliance with safety standards (including LOTO), and track maintenance activity.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve recurring issues and support equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Use CNC equipment and control systems (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens preferred).
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with PLC systems and electrical diagnostics.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools.
• Effective communication; work independently or on a team.
