Job summary

Celerity Staffing Solutions in Johnson Creek, WI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our CNC-driven manufacturing operations and keep equipment at peak performance.

You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, mentor a skilled team, and act as the primary technical resource for machinery and facility systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, including 3+ years with CNC machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC lathes, mills, routers, and other precision equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Calibrate and align CNC equipment to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor machine wear and manage parts replacement proactively.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring quality execution.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development for the team.
  • Create, schedule, and track work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance using maintenance software.

CNC Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Johnson Creek, WI

Employment Type: 1st shift. Plus some weekends as needed.

CNC Machinery Maintenance
  • Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC lathes, mills, routers, and other precision equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Calibrate and align CNC equipment to maintain accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor machine wear and manage parts replacement proactively.
Team Leadership & Scheduling
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring quality execution.
  • Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development support.
  • Foster a team culture built on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Work Order & Maintenance Management
  • Create, schedule, and track work orders for both preventive and corrective maintenance using maintenance software.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates on task completion, and equipment status.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in maintenance, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, including 3+ years working directly with CNC machinery.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with maintenance software for work order management, scheduling, and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery operation, programming, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, and Haas.
Leadership & Soft Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a maintenance team.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt quickly to changing production needs.
