About the Position

Regal Rexnord Marengo is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. Pay: $26.50 - $32.00 per hour plus a $3 hour shift differential. Benefits include 401(k) with match, paid time off, and a supportive team culture.

Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for efficiently and safely making a variety of machine repairs in the facility and completing required preventative maintenance tasks. This person may guide other technicians, vendors, and hourly facilities associates on projects such as machine movement and complex tear downs.

Key Responsibilities

• Observes safety, environmental, and ITAR procedures at all times.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Read and utilize machine drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and fluid power diagrams.
• Assist with all installations, placement or movement of new or existing equipment.
• Assist with building repairs such as painting, drywall, cleaning, polishing, and other repairs as assigned.
• Work with managers, engineers, and department supervisors to ensure all equipment is maintained and operational, communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Utilize CMMS to maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories, checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt.
• Use dimensional tools such as micrometers and calipers to adjust machines or functional tools for machinists.
• Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.
• Perform 5S activities monthly and assist other departments as needed.
• Work overtime and weekends as required; work independently without direct supervisory oversight.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical CNC machine repair preferred.
• Experience in PLC programming preferred.
• 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience required, with knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
