Job summary

Solina is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in EASTVALE, CA to repair and troubleshoot food processing equipment across belts, pumps, mixers, and packaging lines. You will perform mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic repairs and support preventive maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with 1+ years in industrial maintenance or 4 years of equivalent experience, and a willingness to lead and mentor junior

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ years in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing.
• Alternatively 4 years of direct maintenance experience.
• Ability to read schematics and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Installs replacement belts, filters, gears, chains and valves.
• Rebuilds valves, pumps and gearboxes.
• Troubleshoots pneumatic, electric and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.
• Repairs machines involving guarding, bolt replacement and wear-related issues.
• Welds machine components.
• Performs preventive maintenance like lubrication and drive chains.
• Handles installations, including hookups of air, water, gas and alignment.
• Acts as a lead by training and mentoring less experienced maintenance staff.

Who are we looking for?

Performs repairs and troubleshooting on food processing equipment to include, but not limited to: stuffers, vacuum pumps, mixers, grinders, packaging machinery, conveyors, hydraulic units, multivacs, and ovens.

Key Responsibilities

• Installs replacement belts, filters, gears, chains and valves.
• Rebuilds valves, pumps and gearboxes.
• Troubleshoots pneumatic, electric and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.
• Performs repairs to machines involving machine guarding, bolt replacement and breakdowns due to mechanical wear.
• Welds machine components.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, drives chains, etc.
• Handles installations, including hooking up air, water, gas and the alignment and leveling of equipment.
• Acts as a lead by training, mentoring and providing guidance to less experienced and hourly Maintenance employees.

Candidate Profile

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1+ years of related experience and/or training in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment; or 4 years' direct experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance environment.

Pay $35.00 - $39.00
