Job summary

LeoForce in Vernon, CA is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed automated production equipment in a GMP food manufacturing facility. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system issues with a hands-on approach.

You will perform preventative maintenance, work with PLCs, VFDs, and CMMS, and mentor junior technicians while upholding safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience with 480V and below systems.
• Experience with VFDs, servo systems, motor controls, and industrial automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot relays, contactors, sensors, and control circuits.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
• Familiarity with HMI systems and industrial instrumentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and alignment.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, ultrasound).
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed automated production equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience with 480V and below systems
• Experience working with VFDs, servo systems, motor controls, and industrial automation
• Ability to troubleshoot relays, contactors, photo eyes, proximity sensors, safety devices, and control circuits
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)
• Familiarity with HMI systems and industrial instrumentation
• Strong mechanical aptitude including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, pipefitting, and precision alignment
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, or ultrasound monitoring
• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, packaging, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred
