Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM overnight shift at our flagship Delphos, Ohio facility. You will keep production equipment running through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical maintenance background and experience with industrial equipment; food-manufacturing experience is preferred. PLC troubleshooting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, pumps, bearings and valves.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, pumps, bearings, valves and related systems.
• Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, installations, and modifications.
• Troubleshoot and support PLC-controlled equipment.
• Work with boilers and other plant utility systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow all safety, food safety and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams; support continuous improvement.

The company recently expanded its portfolio through the acquisition of a well-known yogurt brand and operates a large-scale production facility supporting high-volume food manufacturing.

This is a major manufacturing operation with a large, sophisticated plant environment, offering Maintenance Technicians the opportunity to work on a wide variety of production equipment and systems.

The team is looking for hands-on maintenance professionals who are comfortable troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Job Details

We are currently hiring Maintenance Technicians for the 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM overnight shift.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical maintenance background and experience working with industrial equipment. Food manufacturing experience is highly preferred, but candidates with strong industrial maintenance experience in other manufacturing environments will also be considered.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment installation.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime
• Diagnose and repair equipment involving pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, valves, motors, pumps, and other mechanical systems
• Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, installations, and modifications
• Troubleshoot and support PLC-controlled equipment
• Work with boilers and other plant utility systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs
• Assist with installation and startup of new equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Follow all company safety, food safety, and quality procedures
• Work collaboratively with production and other maintenance team members
• Support continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar
• Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, pumps, bearings, valves, and industrial equipment
• Preventative maintenance experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Food manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance issues in a high-volume production environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to continue learning new equipment and technologies
