Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a PART-TIME Maintenance Technician for a manufactured home park in Cottage Grove, Oregon. This 20-hour-per-week role runs Monday through Friday, with 401K after 90 days and 3 weeks PTO.

You will perform routine maintenance, minor electrical/plumbing/carpentry, and groundskeeping, including turnover work and equipment checks. Strong attendance, safety awareness, and teamwork are essential.

• Winterizes outside faucets and supports other maintenance staff.

Job description

We are an established Real Estate Management Company that manages over 150 investment properties throughout Oregon and Washington. As a team, we accomplish objectives through integrity, leadership, communication, trust, loyalty, quality, and commitment. We need a PART-TIME Maintenance technician for a manufactured home park in Cottage Grove Oregon.

This is a PART-TIME 20 hours per week job, Monday thru Friday with 401K, after 90 days, as well as 3 weeks PTO.

Job Summary

Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings, preforms unit turnovers, and maintains grounds by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following

1. Receives written orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.
2. Completes minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry projects as needed.
3. Assists landscapers when directed in maintaining all common areas, grounds, vacant and abandoned yards/spaces, RV storage area, landscaping, trees, shrubs, hedges, bushes, etc. including but not limited to mowing, fertilizing, weeding, trimming, pruning, edging and keeping clean and free of debris.
4. Maintains and cleans street surfaces, paint speed bumps and re-stripes common parking areas as needed.
5. Maintains, cleans and keeps free of all debris, all drains, ditches, streets, parking areas, RV storage areas, sidewalks and road frontage areas.
6. Maintains and cleans recreation building and laundry facilities.
7. Maintains and tests all Community equipment including vehicles, lawn mowing/weeding equipment, various other landscaping tools, miscellaneous tools, etc.
8. Paint and/or repair Community structures as necessary and only with direction from supervisor.
9. Helps to rebuild and maintain the Community owned carports.
10. Winterizes outside faucets in all Community owned buildings.
11. Assists other maintenance workers as needed with other projects.
