Job summary

Ron Sunshine Associates LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and plant systems across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and control circuits, read schematics and ladder logic, and support installations, upgrades, and start‑ups while collaborating with the Maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on industrial production equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for production equipment and plant projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other automation systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Rebuild and fabricate components for industrial production equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities.
• Assist operators and maintenance team with troubleshooting and repairs.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrialmanufacturing equipment and plant systems. This position performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment and supports equipment installations, upgrades, and start-up projects. This could be 1st, 2nd, OR 3rd shift.

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on industrial production equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and repair industrial motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and other industrial control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, steam systems, air compressors, and other industrial plant utilities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for production equipment and plant projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other industrial automation systems.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a Maintenance Team.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support plant operations.
