Job summary

Morgan Properties seeks a Maintenance Service Technician for a 504-unit apartment community in Tonawanda, NY. The role includes troubleshooting HVAC, appliance repairs, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing to keep properties up to standards.

We offer base pay $24.00–$26.00 per hour, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and generous PTO. On-call duties and rent discount programs are also part of the package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required or reliable transportation.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• One year of related experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete service repairs including HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas to company standards, safety guidelines and laws.
• Respond to resident service requests and work orders promptly.
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• On-call participation required with $15/day on-call pay.

Compensation & Incentives:

• Base Pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

• Troubleshoot and complete service repairs including HVAC, general appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance needs
• Keep interior and exterior areas up to company standards, safety guidelines, and applicable laws
• Respond quickly to resident service requests and assigned work orders
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required

What We'll Expect From You:

• Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
• 2–3 years of maintenance experience preferred
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
