Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Service Technician for our Columbia, SC apartment communities. This full-time role focuses on maintaining building systems and ensuring compliance with company standards and laws.

Candidates with a valid driver's license, HVAC certification preferred, and at least 1 year of related experience are encouraged to apply. A $1,200 sign-on bonus is offered along with competitive benefits and on-call coverage.

• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates.

We are seeking aService Technicianwith a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of thisapartment communitymeet both company standards and applicable laws.

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

• Be responsible for trouble‑shuting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Paid rotating on‑call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
