Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring Service Technicians for its Nashville-area apartment communities. This full-time role focuses on ensuring physical spaces meet company standards and legal requirements. You will troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues and handle tickets with residents and staff.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of related experience or equivalent education, plus a valid driver’s license. HVAC/EPA/CFC certification is preferred.

• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active, valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate repairs and updates clearly with residents and staff.

Now hiring Service Technicians!

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this apartment community meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As The Service Technician, You Will Help To

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 - $23.00
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

• Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events

What We’ll Expect From You
