Job summary

Prominence Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the Courtyard by Marriott Champaign in top condition. You’ll perform routine upkeep across guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure safe, clean, and guest-ready spaces.

The role requires troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, lighting, furniture, and appliances, with attention to safety and brand standards. You’ll work closely with housekeeping and front desk teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations on-site.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred.

What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician

• Daily Upkeep: Perform routine maintenance and repair duties to ensure all rooms, common areas, and equipment are functioning properly.
• Troubleshooting:Respond quickly to maintenance requests involving HVAC, plumbing, lighting, furniture, and appliances.
• Preventive Maintenance:Assist with ongoing maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and keep systems running efficiently.
• Safety First:Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local codes and brand standards.
• Collaborate:Work closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to resolve issues and keep the property guest-ready.
