Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Marion is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Marion hotel in top shape for guests and team members. You’ll perform routine maintenance, respond to HVAC/plumbing/electrical issues, and support preventive maintenance schedules to ensure safety and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred; basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment; basic computer and computational skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; report issues and updates.

Responsibilities

• Daily Upkeep: Perform routine maintenance and repair duties to ensure rooms, common areas, and equipment function properly.
• Troubleshooting: Respond quickly to maintenance requests involving HVAC, plumbing, lighting, furniture, and appliances.
• Preventive Maintenance: Assist with ongoing maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and keep systems running efficiently.
• Safety First: Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local codes and brand standards.
• Collaborate: Work closely with housekeeping and front office teams to resolve issues and keep the property guest-ready.
