Job summary

Maloney Properties in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at a large portfolio of residential properties. This full-time role offers in-unit repairs, preventive maintenance, and preparation of apartments for new residents.

You will perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs, supervise contractors, and keep common areas well maintained. The work hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
• Completing work orders including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
• Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
• Updating Yardi and keeping managers informed of ongoing projects at the sites.

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This is a full-time opportunity at a large portfolio of residential properties. You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose duties and responsibilities include:

• Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
• Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
• Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
