Job summary

Maloney Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Allston/Brighton. This full-time role covers a large portfolio of residential properties with duties including in-unit repairs and general maintenance.

The position requires experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, plus familiarity with Yardi or similar work order systems. A valid driver's license and vehicle access are required. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general apartment repair and experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work is required.
• Experience with Yardi or other work order systems is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
• Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
• Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
• Updating Yardi and keeping the Maintenance Superintendent and Property Managers informed of ongoing projects at the sites.

Your Responsibilities

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Allston/Brighton. This is a full-time opportunity at a large portfolio of residential properties. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
• Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
• Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.

The work hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, with on-call duties shared on rotation.

Pay Range: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on previous experience.
