Job summary

Elliott Industries, Inc. in Bossier City, LA, is seeking a detail-focused maintenance technician to assemble, install, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and adhering to safety, quality, and 5S standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The starting hourly rate is $25.00 with a schedule of 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with Friday as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Performing general maintenance work on buildings as assigned.
• Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
• Technical expertise
