Job summary

Collective is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our growing property management portfolio in Billings, MT. You will perform maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure properties meet high standards of appearance and safety.

The ideal candidate has maintenance skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment. Regular hours are expected with on-call shifts for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous multi-family experience preferred.
• Maintenance skills and experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build Collective brand loyalty by ensuring resident interactions are positive.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and owners.
• Follow and adhere to all Fair Housing Laws.
• Ensure interior and exterior areas have a clean, high-quality appearance.
• Manage vendor relationships for properties.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Organize and manage maintenance shop, inventory, and tools.
• Complete all service requests in a timely and professional manner.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
• Must be able to walk property to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance

Work Environment

• This position requires regular office hours to be maintained (8 am – 5 pm, M-F).
• This position also requires scheduled on-call hours for emergency situations outside of regular office hours.
