Job summary

MAXX Properties is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Aurora for an immediate, full-time opportunity. The role involves preparing vacant apartments for market readiness, responding to resident service requests, and performing on-call emergency maintenance with a team-focused approach.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of residential maintenance experience, basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliance repair skills, and EPA Type II or Universal certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of residential maintenance experience including work orders and turns.
• Basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparing vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Respond to resident service requests (light bulb changes, minor HVAC, caulking, appliance repairs, etc.).
• Perform on-call emergency service as required.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor on special projects as needed.
• Assist with keeping grounds and common areas free of trash and debris.
