Brookside Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Augusta area. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, and general maintenance to ensure resident satisfaction and property efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment or multifamily maintenance preferred.
• EPA and CPO certifications highly valued.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform apartment turns and prep units for new residents.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other systems.
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and property equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours calls.
• Help maintain property safety, inspection, and compliance standards.
• Maintain inventory and supplies for maintenance operations.
• Provide excellent service to residents and support the community.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred
• EPA Certification strongly preferred
• CPO Certification strongly preferred
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation
• Basic hand tools and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
