Job summary

Brookside Properties in Augusta, GA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our multifamily team. You’ll handle maintenance requests, perform unit turns, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances, and keep common areas safe and well‑maintained.

This on‑site role requires reliable transportation and the ability to participate in after‑hours rotations. Preferred EPA and CPO certifications, high school diploma, and prior apartment maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• HS diploma or GED completed.
• Ability to participate in after-hours/on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Maintain common areas and respond to emergency maintenance needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred
• EPA Certification strongly preferred
• CPO Certification strongly preferred
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to participate in an after‑hours/on‑call rotation
• Basic hand tools and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills

What You’ll Do

• Complete maintenance service requests promptly and professionally
