Job summary

Brookside Properties, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Augusta area team. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely response to resident service requests in a growing multifamily community.

Ideal candidates have HVAC/plumbing/electrical experience, EPA/CPO certifications preferred, and a readiness to participate in after-hours on-call rotations. Growth opportunities and competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Certification strongly preferred.
• CPO Certification strongly preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests promptly and professionally
• Perform apartment turns and prepare units for new residents
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and property equipment
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours calls
• Help maintain property safety, inspection, and compliance standards
• Maintain maintenance inventory and supplies
• Provide excellent service to residents and support the overall success of the community
