Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Georgia to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy machinery and equipment on the warehouse floor.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, ability to read blueprints, operate material handling equipment, and coordinate with outside contractors when needed. A safety mindset and PPE compliance are essential on-site expectations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• 3–5 years in industrial maintenance environment.

Perform various facilities maintenance activities.Job Description1st shift paying up to $38 per hourKey Accountabilities:Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs on all equipment.Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility.Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area.Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment.Ability to perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs.Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services.Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.Complete all job duties in a manner that does not put him/herself or other individuals in an unsafe situation and wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) when required.Assist in any duties to support the operations, as requested by supervisor or manager.This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
