Job summary

thyssenkrupp Aerospace is seeking a Material Control Analyst to provide accurate inventory information for company-controlled stock and support the production line. This role is safety sensitive and requires pre-employment drug testing in Washington.

You will create reports, update the inventory system, and help audits while maintaining meticulous data accuracy and adherence to Health, Safety, and Lean initiatives. Strong Excel skills and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

  • Safety sensitive role with emphasis on safe work practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong inventory management system knowledge (MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to read/write English and perform basic math.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, stock locations, and tagging.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

Job Summary

To accurately provide inventory information for company-controlled material stock. This position is responsible for all the functions that support the flow of materials from inventory to the production line.


This position has been identified as "safety sensitive" by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws in the state of Washington. Accordingly, any application for this position that is considered for employment with thyssenkrupp requires successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, which may include testing for marijuana in accordance with any applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to any such laws in the state of Washington.


Job Description

Key Accountabilities for Material Control Analyst:


  • Create and maintain regular material control reports for management

  • Updates inventory management system

  • Tracks part number adjustments

  • Updates and monitors inventory adjustments

  • Enters cycle count results

  • Develops part to part transfers

  • Assign location in inventory for incoming materials

  • Investigates inventory error and location/assignment errors

  • Assist in internal and external material audits

  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work

  • Participate, support, and comply with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements

  • Complete all job duties in a manner that does not put him/herself or other individuals in an unsafe situation and wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) when required

  • Assist in any other duties to support the operations, as requested by supervisor or manager

  • Meets all other TKMNA employee attributes and competencies

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:


  • This is a Safety Sensitive role, the company is dedicated to the safety of all employees, and we are looking for candidates that are safety oriented to join our team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems

  • Solid proficiency using MS Office software, particularly with Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to use basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges

  • Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems

  • Proven high level of attention to detail and accuracy in written work and data entry, including stock locations and tag accuracies

  • Knowledge of all database programs used and their impact on material control functions (to include Titan, MASS, and/or SAP as required)

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing (including email), and to train others

  • Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Obtain and maintain current certification to operate material handling equipment such as, forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry-picker

  • College coursework leading toward completion of at least a 2-year degree

$26.25
