Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency, applying strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires working 1st shift (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 2nd shift (5:30 PM - 4:00 AM, following day) with pay ranging from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical training in relevant fields preferred.
• Hands-on industrial maintenance experience is considered.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with production machinery maintenance in manufacturing.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, drives, controls, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Conduct lubrication, inspections, adjustments, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Diagnose and repair low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Order, install, and replace machinery components and parts as needed.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe maintenance shop and work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

• Experience with production machinery maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, drives, controls, and industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
