Job summary
Spectrum Plastics Group in New Brighton, MN is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to support production and precision machining operations. The role requires mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with various systems.
You will perform repairs, assist with setup/troubleshooting of vision systems and robotics, and conduct preventive maintenance while documenting activities. Injection molding experience is a plus, with attention to safety and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Able to use hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks.
- Basic ability to perform troubleshooting and PMs.
- Basic ability to read MS Office, CMMS, and Donatelle ERP.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs on production and auxiliary equipment.
- Assist in setup and troubleshooting of vision systems, robots and other automation.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Clean components and barrels as required.
- Assist with installation of new equipment.
- Generate and implement equipment/process improvements.
- Support facility maintenance and modifications.
- Follow safety and 5S lean practices.
- Maintain storeroom/parts room organization.
