Job summary

Plastic Molding Technology is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and automated systems in our plastic molding operation. You will support production with changeovers and optimize uptime, working with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, and stepper motor systems.

Collaborate with engineers and operators to ensure safety, documentation, and continuous improvement while delivering reliable performance across injection molding machines,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Experience as maintenance/automation technician in plastics production preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, servo drives, and stepper motor controllers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and automation systems in production.
• Support work order changeovers including mold changes and color changes.
• Install and commission equipment and automation systems per specs.
• Document maintenance activities and generate reports on performance and downtime.
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in continuous improvement.
