Job&Talent US in Wharton, NJ, is seeking a Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) to keep our manufacturing lines running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and document parts usage and downtime.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, ability to execute line changeovers, and train junior mechanics. Shifts are 1st, 2nd and 3rd, with hourly pay of $29–$31.

• Explain production line changeover process, including tooling inspection and storage, while ensuring minimal downtime.
• Describe diagnosing and repairing an urgent electrical or mechanical machinery breakdown safely and quickly under pressure.
• Must have used checklists for preventive maintenance on components, lubrication, and safety hazards.
• Explain how you would train a junior mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Execute production line changeovers and assist in line setups.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts usage.
• Train mechanic trainee workers and supervise staff in the absence of the Plant Engineer.

Job description

Salary: USD29 - USD31 per hour

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) to work with a leading manufacturing company in Wharton. This role is essential for ensuring the efficiency and safety of production lines through expert mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday
• 1st shift: 7am to 3pm
• 2nd shift: 3pm to 11pm
• 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am

Pay Rates

• 29.00 - 31.00 USD hourly
