Job Talent in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) for a direct-hire role. The position pays $27 - $30 per hour and operates on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, execute line changeovers, and help install new equipment. The role requires diagnosing electrical or mechanical issues safely, using maintenance checklists, and training junior mechanics as needed.

Qualifications

• Explain your production line changeover process with tooling inspection and storage to minimize downtime.
• Describe diagnosing and repairing an urgent electrical or mechanical breakdown safely and quickly.
• Must have used checklists for preventive maintenance on components, lubrication, and safety hazards.
• Explain how you would train a junior mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Execute production line changeovers and assist in new equipment installations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts usage.
• Supervise mechanics in the absence of the Plant Engineer.
• Ensure a safe work environment by inspecting lines and reporting hazards.
