Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and source parts to keep production running smoothly. You will train on new equipment and guide co-workers on safe operation.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, tool ownership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree in a related technical field strongly preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred and may substitute for degree.
• English fluency required; good written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electric, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits using schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment on schedule.
• Determine parts and equipment needed; order with Parts Room coordination.
• Learn and gain expertise on new equipment and processes.
