Job summary

Village Green is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform timely work orders, HVAC-related tasks, and appliance repairs at our Battle Creek property. The role includes apartment turns, electrical and plumbing work, drywall, painting, and on-call emergency responses.

We value customer service and reliability, with a strong team focus and opportunities to contribute to property upkeep, snow removal in winter, and pool area maintenance as applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in hotel or multifamily housing preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Complete plumbing and electrical service requests.
• Handle apartment turns including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance work.
• Provide friendly, service-oriented maintenance to residents.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as directed by management.
• Maintain exterior property curb appeal and perform seasonal tasks.
