Job summary

Marshall Steel, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Welder for our heavy manufacturing operations in the Memphis, TN area.

The role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment including welding lines, painting and coating equipment, and related machinery. The successful candidate should be proficient with hydraulics, pneumatics, cranes/hoists, electrical schematics, and PLC troubleshooting, and able to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience maintaining cranes and hoists.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot maintenance/electrical issues and perform routine PMs.
• Handle 480 VAC motor controls and related electrical systems.
• Utilize AC crane knowledge and AC/DC drive experience; PLC troubleshooting.
• Weld as required and read electrical schematics/ mechanical drawings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Marshall Steel, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Welder with experience working in heavy manufacturing.The Maintenance Mechanic should be experienced in diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment.

The successful candidate will be a vital member of our team, maintaining steel fabrication equipment including saws, punches, presses, welding equipment, robot weld lines, and painting and coating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Tech will be required to Troubleshoot Maintenance/ Electrical issues. Must perform routine maintenance, such as preventive maintenance (PM).

  • Must know 480 VAC motor controls
  • AC crane knowledge along with Ac Drive/ DC Motor knowledge
  • PLC knowledge for troubleshooting issues on the mill.
  • Must be able to weld
  • Need to be able to read Electrical Schematics/Mechanical drawings
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by management.
