Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across the plant.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment that has failed, and maintain equipment for reliable operation. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge, welding skills, and the ability to read technical writing and schematics.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
• Welding skills.

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
• Experience in alignment and power transmission.
