Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech III for the Lebanon, IN facility on the day shift.

You will maintain facilities and equipment, perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing and packing equipment, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure uptime. Responsibilities include documenting maintenance work, managing spare parts, starting equipment at shift begin, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical conveyor systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a multi-craft technician
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution, drives, motors, bearings, conveyor systems preventative maintenance and repair, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and operator interfaces, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), HVAC systems and controls
• Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and equipment in good, safe order
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment and panels
• Carry out preventive maintenance in a timely manner
• Document preventive maintenance, repairs, part usages and projects
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Ensure proper startup of equipment at shift start
• Inspect and repair machines, conveyors, and warehouse facilities
• Diagnose problems by observing and listening to devices in operation
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems (mechanical and electrical)
