Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician III for the 2nd shift in Clayton, IN. The role combines mechanical, electrical, computer and software skills to support robots, automated systems and computer-integrated manufacturing equipment.

The technician performs preventive maintenance, diagnoses issues, and works with stakeholders to improve equipment. A strong background in industrial electronics and mechatronics is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining Industrial Electronic and Electrical systems.
• Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet and pass Fall Protection Training.
• Flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime, weekends.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment.
• Strong mathematical and analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of engineering science, technology and production processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous operational checks and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Repair and replace defective electrical and mechanical parts.
• Work safely at heights and operate ladders, hoists and cranes as needed.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports and share findings with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams to recommend facility and equipment design improvements.
