Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Class III Mechanic in North Carolina to provide automotive repair and maintenance support. You will ensure a safe work environment and assist technical staff with repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of truck or automotive repair experience is required.
• Recommended hand tools for Class III Mechanic are needed.
• Ideally have previous fleet experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years truck or automotive repair experience
• Minimum recommended hand tools for Class III Mechanic
• High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience
• Ideally have previous fleet experience and are familiar with diesel and gasoline systems
