Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 for our Hazleton, PA bakery. You will perform complex maintenance and repair on production equipment, ensuring uptime through advanced troubleshooting and preventive practices.

The role requires experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems, with emphasis on safety, GMP, and documentation. Shift is 3rd, 10 pm–6:30 am, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience reading P&IDs, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for maintenance systems and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs and preventative maintenance on bakery equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, and automated control systems to minimize downtime.
• Install, program, and maintain electronic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems and equipment.
• Execute major equipment overhauls, validate repairs, and return systems to operational readiness.
• Support production teams by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and maintaining uptime during scheduled operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate updates using computerized maintenance management systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
