Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 for our Hazleton, PA bakery. You will conduct complex maintenance and repair on production equipment, using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PC-based controls to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience, or 6 years of equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Experience in instrumentation, measurement, control systems, and industrial mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and control system documentation (e.g., P&IDs, schematics, and layout drawings)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced production environment
• Basic computer proficiency for maintenance systems and communication
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment such as power tools, lifts, and forklifts

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs and preventative maintenance on bakery equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving PLCs, instrumentation, and automated control systems to minimize downtime
• Install, program, and maintain electronic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems and equipment
• Execute major equipment overhauls, validate repairs, and return systems to operational readiness
• Support production teams by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and maintaining uptime during scheduled operations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate updates using computerized maintenance management systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
