Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Hazleton, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to join our bakery team. You will perform complex maintenance and repair on production equipment, using advanced troubleshooting and preventive practices to maximize uptime.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems, and the ability to read schematics. Shift is 3rd with overnight hours and weekend availability; you’ll work with safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma with 4+ years of maintenance experience or 6 years of hands-on work.
Experience with instrumentation, control systems, and industrial maintenance.
Ability to read electrical/mechanical documentation (P&IDs, schematics).

Responsibilities

Perform complex repairs and preventative maintenance on bakery equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems.
Troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, and automated control systems to minimize downtime.
Install, program, and maintain control systems and equipment.
Execute major equipment overhauls and validate repairs for uptime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work with CMMS.
Ensure safety, GMPs, and quality standards in a clean workspace.
