Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Tech 3, Bakery Maintenance to join our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. You will perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and support reliability across the facility.

This senior-level role emphasizes minimizing downtime and safe operations, with visibility across equipment uptime and production systems. A strong candidate has mechanical/electrical experience and a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience in industrial or manufacturing machinery, OR 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Must read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and machine layout drawings.
• Experience in at least two of refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or food manufacturing process controls.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and operating procedures.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and plan work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment to support high uptime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related issues.
• Execute or assist with major equipment overhauls and system rebuilds.
• Maintain and operate tools and machinery safely, including lifts, forklifts, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Document maintenance activities in the Maintenance Management System and communicate with team members.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized maintenance work areas in GMPs and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production and external contractors to minimize disruptions.
