Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Level B) to ensure production equipment operates safely and reliably. You will maintain and troubleshoot critical machinery, minimize downtime, and support consistent product quality in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, equipment installation support, and mentoring entry-level technicians.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, pulleys, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
• Service conveyance systems, piping, and utilities (steam, air, water).
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure reliable operation and reduced downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues impacting safety, quality, and production efficiency.
• Identify root causes of mechanical failures and understand related electrical interactions.
• Execute repairs efficiently and communicate findings, corrective actions, and recommendations to maintenance and operations teams.
