Job summary

Shaw Industries is hiring a Maintenance Technician C to support the safe, reliable operation of production equipment. This entry-to-mid level role involves hands-on maintenance and basic troubleshooting while assisting senior technicians on more complex tasks.

You will work in a team, perform preventive maintenance, read basic drawings, use CMMS to document work, and contribute to reducing downtime and upskilling toward advanced maintenance.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with safety practices including LOTO, confined space, PPE.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose problems, perform repairs or part replacements, and restore functionality.
• Use basic tools to monitor equipment condition and support CBM activities.
• Complete work orders and assist with installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and maintenance leads.
