Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level B to join our on-site team. This mid-level role focuses on keeping production equipment safe, reliable, and efficient through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and proactive care.

You will collaborate with maintenance and operations to minimize downtime and uphold product quality, using CMMS documentation and standard repair practices. Opportunities exist for growth within a leading manufacturing company.

Qualifications

Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience using CMMS or similar maintenance software.
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
Maintain mechanical systems, bearings, belts, motors, and gearboxes.
Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and communicate corrective actions.
Execute preventive maintenance and use condition-monitoring techniques to detect early signs of failure.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve reliability and equipment performance.
