Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech 2 to keep our direct mail production equipment running reliably, safely, and with minimal downtime.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a range of machines, reading blueprints and following SOPs to meet production goals and cost-efficiency targets. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, collaboration with operators, and documenting maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a related field, with experience across a variety of equipment and machinery.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to move and lift 15 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, promptly addressing stoppages to minimize production interruptions.
• Conducts machine setups for production operations, ensuring equipment is ready for use.
• Assists operators with daily maintenance requests and collaborates with them on troubleshooting to keep machines running smoothly.
• Maintains accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Promotes and maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
