Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform mid to expert level maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, and control systems. The role involves sourcing parts, operating machining tools, and maintaining records in CMMS.

The position emphasizes safety, 5S adherence, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting other technicians and learning new skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Technical experience in electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of safety and maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Operates machining tools such as lathe, drill press, grinder as needed.
• Follows 5S and housekeeping standards; participates in CI activities.
• Updates CMMS history and traffic data for asset records.
• Troubleshoots control systems and analyzes hardware/software issues.
• Provides guidance to junior technicians and supports training.
