Job summary

Moore is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and optimal performance of production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support uptime for mail sorting machinery.

Role requires 2+ years in equipment maintenance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills in a fast-paced production environment. On-site position with focus on safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in equipment maintenance in a mail sorting, or production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, systems.
• Maintain production machinery such as Mail sorting machines.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose the root cause, and restore operation quickly.
• Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
• Work closely with production supervisors and Sorting machine operators to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal impact on production.
• Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and relocations.
• Collaborate with production operators/supervisor/plant manager to identify recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and organized work areas.
• Provide input to maintenance planning and equipment upgrade opportunities.
• Provide input on equipment reliability and improvement opportunities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
